The Sound of Working

Every year Impulsus organises a unique workshop about leadership: The Sound of Working. What makes The Sound of Working so special? Simply the fact that all the guests are seated alongside the members of the orchestra makes it an extraordinary experience! And … that’s not the main point of this amazing event. Using the orchestra as the metaphor for an organisation, the American conductor Roger Nierenberg, together with the North Sea Philharmonic Orchestra, demonstrates and, in particular, lets you hear the difference between good and excellent quality in working and collaboration. Nierenberg draws the parallel between everything you see and hear and actual working habits in organisations, so that at the end of the day you leave with valuable insights into leadership and collaboration.

This is the seventh time that Impulsus has organised this special musical workshop in the Netherlands, and the third time in Belgium, as a way of illustrating the basic principles of CiEP in such an inspiring manner. Roger Nierenberg is a successful American conductor who appears all over the world with famous orchestras; but he has also written a book about successfully leading by listening.

Sound of Working 2010
The Sound of Working takes place on Thursday 22nd April in Leiden and on Friday 23rd April in Brasschaat. Admission is by invitation only.
