CiEP Behaviour- and Motivation Analysis

When we make choices in our private lives or at work we are strongly guided by our personal standards and values, attitude and behavior. These factors are part of what defines who we are and what we regard as important. The preferences, goals and interests that arise from that also determine in which domains we can and want to function, how good we are at that and what kind of effort we are willing to put into doing so. Just how effective our actions and communications are becomes visible in both the desired and undesired results that are achieved, visibly, measurable and tangibly. The Behavior and Motivations Analysis offers an aid to recognizing our motivations, natural preference, behavior and behavioral characteristics.

What people would really like

People like to be successful at what they are doing and make optimal use of their qualities and capabilities. People like to understand themselves and others and also be understood themselves. Self-knowledge and self-awareness increase the possibilities of making behavior and the effects thereof a topic of discussion, so that can have a positive effect in collaborative relationships and the relationship with yourself. It allows you to create space for new choices and to optimize your efficiency in the relationship with yourself and others.

What the Behavior and Motivations Analysis offers

The Behavior and Motivations Analysis offers an aid to recognizing our motivations, drivers, natural preference, behavior and behavioral characteristics. The discussion of the analysis afterwards and the coaching sessions arising from it offer support when turning the insights effectively into practice.

We recommend combining the Behavior and Motivations Analysis with the CiEP Going Program. You can also do the Behavior and Motivations Analysis before doing the CiEP Basic Program.

Contents

To obtain your personal Behavior and Motivations Analysis you need to fill in your profile digitally by means of a questionnaire. A report will be drawn up on the basis of this, which your coach will discuss with you. In this analysis the following points will be examined:

  • Your general behavioral characteristics and the value of these to the organization.
  • An overview of the motivations that make you decide how to act.
  • Your communications characteristics and pointers for effective communications.
  • An overview of the characteristics of your basic behavior and of your behavior in response to your environment.
  • The ratio of basic behavior/response behavior in twelve important competences.
  • Keys to motivation and effective (self)management.
  • Personal points for attention.

Six weeks after discussing your profile with you, the coach will conduct a personal coaching session with you at your desk, to help you put these insights effectively into practice.

Results

The Behavior and Motivations Analysis can be used for:

  • The day-to-day guidance, motivation, management and coaching of your employees.
  • Conducting performance interviews
  • Making discussible matters such as the effect of behavior, both desirable and undesirable, in a team.
  • Making working habits, personal needs and bottlenecks visible.
  • On-the-job coaching and optimization of results.

With the aid of the analysis, you and your colleagues are made aware of your and their behavior and the consequences thereof. The personal coaching sessions will contribute to self-awareness and self-knowledge and to improving mutual understanding. The space for making new choices and work agreements is created. Behavior and motivations become discussible, resulting in an improved working atmosphere: Visible, measurable and perceptible!
